Our moisture control epoxy is ideal for use as a primer for wet concrete or on concrete with high levels of humidity. It is based on phenalkamine chemistry which provides hydrophobicity or the ability to resist moisture while curing. It exhibits a good balance between rate of cure and pot life and exceptional chemical and corrosion resistance.
MPC-165
MPC-165 is a 100% solid, two component epoxy coating designed for controlling moisture vapor emissions on new or deteriorated concrete floors. When applied at a thickness of 18 mils, it exceeds ASTM F3010 product requirements for vapor permeance. This coating will withstand moisture vapor emission rates up to 25lbs./24hrs./1000 ft2 when applied properly. It is also available in a fast cure version (MPC-165 FC).
